A night out in Portugal will have you and your friends reminiscing for years to come. As well as boasting every daytime activity that any traveller could wish to indulge in, this country on the western most point of Europe is also famous for its thriving nightlife. The Portugal Hilton, with Moorish architecture and beautiful swimming pools, provides a luxurious retreat for any visitor to return to after days and nights spent immersed in the country’s culture. Of course, a great night must begin with quality food, and highly recommended is Beira Rio restaurant in eastern Algarve. In this riverside eatery you can indulge in traditional Portuguese dishes, including the restaurant’s special garlic quail, while gazing out to a picturesque old bridge. Keep in mind that this is a popular restaurant, so a booking in advance is essential. From here, it’s time to experience what Portugal has to offer at night, and you can choose from a range of bars and clubs. Start off at Sancho Pança for a quiet drink and catch up with friends. Small and cosy, this bar boasts absolutely stunning waterfront views, and the staff here are welcoming and friendly. Also highly recommended is Bank Restaurant and Bar in Albufeira’s Old Town. If you love sitting back and listening to live music, then this is your place. Here you can also order great food to keep you refuelled. Do make sure to experience some of Portugal’s more traditional nightlife as well, and pop into a small local bar to listen to the local “Fado” music live. If you’re lucky, you may also be privy to an impromptu performance of the regional folk dance. Don’t be embarrassed, get up and try it with your friends – you’ll be sure to have a story to tell your loved ones back home! A perfect way to end the evening is to head back to the Algarve Hilton and breathe in the warm night air from you balcony. From here, all you need to do it sit back, relax , and talk the night away with great company.Source: Free Articles from ArticlesFactory.com
