Auris-en-Oisans – France

Auris-en-Oisans is a resort that is a conglomeration of traditional and modern skiing developments, with cosy wooden house rentals in chalet style situated above the village. The resort itself rises to 1600 metres although the highest distance that its lift can reach is 2200 metres. It is a part of the Alpe D'Huez ski area and it has restricted facilities but a relaxing, peaceful base. The closest major airport is Grenoble, and from there, you can arrive by bus or car to the resort in just 1 hour and a half. If you are taking the train, the closest station for a stop over would still be Grenoble, after getting off, you should just hail for a car or look for the resort shuttle bus service taking you to the your destination. If you are taking advantage of road access from any airport, you could take a vehicle and just exit from Vizelle which is 50 kilometres from the resort.
