For those who prefer dry land, there is the golf course at Cozumel Country Club, designed by Nicklaus Design Group; there are Chankanaab National Park and the Punta Sur Ecological Preserve, the historical lighthouse at Punta Celarain, and the Columbia Lagoon, nesting area of the endangered marine turtles.
