This restaurant is one of the town’s best kept secrets as the locals want to keep it only for their own dining pleasure. Taylor’s has been in existence for 10 years. You get an elegant and intimate dining ambiance with sparkling chandeliers, leather seats and some fabulous artwork on the walls.
The chef/owner uses the best local produce from Devon delivered daily to prepare the many delicious dishes that it serves. Meat and game come from local farm while fish and shellfish are from the South West coastline. Their vegetables are either grown in the restaurant’s own kitchen garden or bought from local certified organic suppliers. The dishes are simple but excellently cooked. Some house specialties include Sauteed Scallops with Cream and Crab Sauce or Breast of Duck with Blackberry and Port Sauce. Many dishes featured in the menu include fish and shellfish which are sourced from the freshest catch of the day. Annabelles Kitchen
Annabelles Kitchen is located at 24 South Embankment, right on the waterfront which makes it an easy stroll from your Dartmouth holiday cottages . It is an intimate and cosy restaurant that is furnished in a traditional British manner. The restaurant, owned by Joanna and Jonathan Hodgson just won Silver during the 2011 Taste of the West Restaurant Awards. It has also received a prestigious Michelin recommendation and are now included in the 2012 guide.
