Hi... As i thought this year 2017 is going to be my starting month in Bangalore, i thought of going to the nearest places that i must have gone in my 3 years in Bangalore. Nandi hills! We decide on Friday that this Saturday we and friends will be going in morning. We came to know that Skandgiri   is nearby Nandi hills and decent for tracking. So we prepare to first liveliness there. Skandagiri is blameless for night track.... u go there in night. Do tracking for 2 hours and enjoy the lovely morning. With attractive clouds under the hill! But as it was our first understanding, we selecting to go in morning. We are happening well... The 70 km long drive at speed of 100 km/hr from BTM -> Mekari circle -> Chikballapur was awesome. I powerfully recommend helmet for security for both pillion and rider on bike as facing wind with so much speed will cause trouble... And it’s better be safe!

So we came to there in 100 minutes. We could see delightful mists on both Nandi hills and Skandgiri in transit. We achieved Skandgiri and got some information about the approach up. One way was basic following (a greater amount of strolling up really) of 7 km and other way was dull 3 km tough climbing. What's more, we unconsciously picked the extreme way. Our hard fortunes that when we began, mists began moving ceaselessly and it turned into an extremely dreary moving in a sunny day, I suggest no less than 1 letter water for every people, we took parcel of brakes in the middle of and in two hours we came to up. It was wonderful there. But, we missed the excellent morning mists :- (

In any case, then we found the other way which was less difficult we returned from a similar way. I have planned to go there again to enjoy sunrised. Also find for next trip to Madurai Rameshwaram Kanyakumari Kovalam

Few suggestions for those who want to go Skandagiri:

Way: it's straight on NH7, 50 km from Mekari circle, Keep watching board at your left. Additionally nearby people will help you.

  1. Best time: go in night; begin moving at 2-3 AM. U will reach in 2-3 hours. There is a stopping spot; the beginning stage is less than 1km from that point. Take long one 7 km basic way for night track. You can likewise achieve early and get rest in tent (u need to carry with u) up there. You can return from same way. It will be at left while descending.
  2. Take some nourishment and enough drinking water. Be that as it may you can get it up additionally on ends of the weekends at any rate.
  3. In the event that you like truly intense climbing, take other tough method for 3 km. That is reasonable for day. It would be ideal if you take note of that it will be hard to return from along these lines. You ought to take the first way.

After this we ate and began for Nandi hills. There it's better time in transit. Those dazzling surprising streets helped me to remember Nainital. It was stunning background. Up there it's same as Skandagiri. Achieve early morning to see sun rise. The good thing is you don't need to climb. Simply appreciate that cool drive. This is finished popularized picnic spot like Bangalore Ooty Kodaikanal Package
