If itís a party you are searching for make your next stop the city of Benidorm with its modern high rise skyline, theme parks for the kids and a beach life the envy of the coast.
If itís a charming Spanish destination with a vibrant atmosphere that allows you to relax while you take in the ancient architecture and live music, then Altea is the place to be and its only fifty kilometres from Alicante. Once you arrive in Altea you will understand why it is referred to as the most charming place on the Costa.
There are many places of interest in this area of Spain for you to visit on one holiday so choose wisely. There are places like the little seaside beach resort of Javea or just down the coast is the picturesque village of Villajoyosa with its Old Town section where you will find some beautiful facades and its ancient Roman city walls. Included in all this are the summer festivals that will give you a taste of Spanish lifestyle at its best. If all this is not enough then a visit to the theme parks is in order. These include Aqualandia, Mundomar or Terra Mitica in Benidorm or at Rio Safari in Elche: all great places for the kids as well.
