New Year's Eve is one of the year's most awaited days. So why not make this New Year's Eve even more exciting with a Grand Canyon helicopter trip from Las Vegas?

Vegas!

The drive from the National park to the Grand Canyon takes only forty-five minutes. The trip is one hundred and twenty miles long with lots to see like the Lake Mead and humongous Hoover Dam.

There are two types of trips up for selection. You can pick either an air-only tour that lands atop the Canyon,Grand Canyon Helicopters: Best New Year's Tours Ever! Articles or the landing tour that lands at the ravine's base.

Landing Tours

In fact, there are also some tour operators offering packages that combine all three. I feel that the landing tours are better and more popular and my favorite is the bottom landing tour. It's inclusive of a Champagne picnic and a pontoon boat ride down the Colorado River.

Now about the air-only Grand Canyon trip. Well, you get to visit its many walking routes and observation station, and of course, the famous Skywalk.

This structural miracle is a special glass platform. It's a seventy foot long entirely transparent walkway that extends out from the Rim. This gives you an idea of the mesmerizing scenes the ravine lying four thousand feet below beholds. It's sure to give anyone an adrenaline rush and a wonderful opportunity to snap pictures.

Luxury Flights

You fly in the slightly older Bell Ranger helicopters for basic tours. It includes a motorcoach drop service from your Las Vegas hotel to the landing strip. These helicopters fly outside Las Vegas in Boulder City.

However, if you choose a Deluxe package, you enjoy the comfort of sitting in a more modern helicopter. This is my preferred choice because of the VIP treatment you get.

Limo Service

A limousine picks you up from your Las Vegas hotel. Then the flight departs from the Las Vegas helipad. There's also a flyby of Las Vegas towards the end.

You get to fly on an Ecostar 180 helicopter on a deluxe tour. It's as secure as the Bell Range but makes a lot less noise. This expedition is much smoother. Thanks to it's huge and comfortable seats that are placed in a stadium setting.

The helicopter also has a huge 180 degrees wrapping windscreen. It's through this that you get to see the best and most panoramic view of the surroundings and the gorge lying below you while flying. It's the best view any commercial helicopter can offer.

NYE 2018

If you plan to try this tour New Year's Eve or around that time, I suggest a morning or afternoon flight. There's less traffic around Las Vegas and fewer Canyon visitors.

However, my personal suggestion is to fly out on New Year's Day. It's relatively quiet, and less packed on the first day of the New Year in comparison to New Year's Eve.

Discounts

With New Year's Eve coming up, you can't afford to waste time booking tickets. In fact, it's better if you immediately make reservations! These Grand Canyon helicopter rides are very much in demand.

It's only the online bookings that give you assured tickets. You know there won't be any confusion if you book using your credit card. Besides, there are special rates and online discounts associated with credit card bookings.

There are so many tour packages you can select from. You no doubt will end up finding a Grand Canyon helicopter ride you can afford that will quench your adrenaline rush.

The Grand Canyon tour is an expedition to cherish forever. The Grand Canyon is one of Mother Earth's most spectacular creations and you can't afford not visiting while in Las Vegas!
