Day 1 - Arrival in Cochin

Upon your arrival at Cochin Airport or Railway Station,Discover the Serenity of Kerala's Backwaters: A Luxurious Houseboat Adventure Articles you'll be warmly welcomed and transferred to your hotel. Cochin, also known as Kochi, is affectionately referred to as the "Queen of the Arabian Sea." As the pulsating heart of Kerala, it's a hub for business and commerce. Your adventure begins with a half-day tour of Fort Cochin, where you'll visit historical landmarks such as the Mattancherry Spice Markets, the Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Basilica, and the Dutch Palace. Marvel at the iconic Chinese Fishing Nets and stroll through Vasco Da Gama Square. Your day concludes with a restful night at your hotel.

Journey to the Wild: Periyar National Park

Day 2 – Cochin to Periyar

After breakfast, you'll set off for the renowned Periyar National Park. Upon arrival, check into a Jungle Lodge nestled in the heart of nature. In the afternoon, immerse yourself in the fragrant world of a local spice plantation. Spend the night at the lodge, surrounded by the sounds of the wilderness.

The Heart of the Backwaters: Kumarakom

Day 3 – Periyar to Kumarakom

Begin your day with an optional motorboat game viewing experience (available at an additional cost), where you might spot herds of wild elephants, tigers, bison, and other wildlife. Periyar is unique in India for its boat-based wildlife watching. Later, journey to the jetty and board a houseboat bound for Kumarakom, a picturesque village set on a lagoon by the Vembanad Lake.
