Kerela is a very small State in the southern west region of India. It is beautiful country with unique customs, art forms and festivals. The main festival is Onam which they celebrate in huge manner, in that they take out big procession of elephants and organize a boat race for the community.

Kerala is one of the top tourist destinations of the World as designated by National Geographic Traveler a World popular travel magazine.

The state is famous for ivory and spice which are export to different countries. The Kerala tour packages offer holidays in beautiful forest, beaches and peaceful lagoons. The towns and large cities offer unique cultural experience and sightseeing. Kerala has many ancient monuments temples, forts, churches and palaces. The literacy rate of Kerela is very high.

Places worth visiting during Kerala tours and travels are popular capital Thiruvananthapuram earlier called Cochin or Kochi, Thrissur, Kozhikode and Kollam.

Thiruvanathapuram

This place is built over seven hills, with pagoda shaped building with red-tiled roofs and narrow winding lanes. The attractions to visit are Veli Tourist Park, zoological garden set among the woodland and lake, and museum.

Kochi

This place is basically set on cluster of islands. It’s a good place to se world famous Kathakalia performance Here you can visit the Fort Cochin India’s oldest European built church. The other place to visit Mattercherry Palace it has the depicting scenes from the Ramayana, Mahabharata and Puranic legends.

Thrissur

Thrisur has long been regarded as Kerala’s cultural capital. The place assumes the role with numerous festive events. The special event is Pooran Festival it include colorful procession o decorated elephant.

Kozhikode

It is also located on the network of river. Things to see are Mananchira Square was a former of courtyard of the Zamorins. Of the city religious Hindu temple name Tali. The impressive Mananchira Library reflects the impact Kozhikode places on literature.
