There is very little left for 2019 My Kerala Travel Blog to begin. I am visiting the state of Kerala, located in the southwestern part of the country, for two weeks ( March 2 - 18 ) in which I hope to learn much more about a country as authentic as India. I have read, and I have been told, that this area of India has nothing to do with the rest of the country. I am looking forward to discovering it! Taking other images than the ones I experienced during our journey through North India, I hope to see a greener and more orderly India. I already have the visa, the flights, the travel insurance, the Kerala itinerary… This starts now!
What must be managed before the trip?
Before starting visiting Kerala with India Magical Trip you must manage what is not included: the visa, the plane tickets and the travel insurance.
The logical thing is to manage the visa first and then the flights, however, they confirmed my selection in the middle of January and the trip was scheduled for the first two weeks of March. I mean, I had a month and a half to prepare everything, so I did both at the same time. Actually, first I bought the airline tickets to prevent them from rising in price and then I sent my passport to Madrid along with all the necessary documents to manage the visa.
Vaccines: although no vaccination is mandatory to enter India, it is best to always go to the nearest Foreign Health center or check with your usual doctor.
Climate: During the month of March the temperature will be around 30 – 35 degrees.
Currency: Indian rupee. 1 euro is approximately 79 rupees.

What do I hope to know about Kerala?
Jodhpur, the Blue city of India
It is 8:00 am when we start our way to Jodhpur. We are separated by 320 km, which in India is something like 6 hours. Along the way, we are surprised to see the atmosphere there. The pilgrims go to Jodhpur accompanied by their truck with music, what a spree! We roll down the windows and dance from the car, the truth is that they laugh with us to see that we keep up. At last, we reach Jodhpur, also known as the blue city. The term of the blue city is due to the fact that the priests, the highest caste, painted their house blue. Associating the color blue to its caste, for being as high as the sky.Varanasi, The holy city bathed by the Ganges
The rattle of the train prevented us from sleeping comfortably that night. The narrow and uncomfortable bunks of that Indian train had almost finished my back, so after 8 hours of traveling, I decided to get up. The fog was still covering the rice fields, and the horizon had not yet awakened. There were only a few hours left to reach our destination and I couldn't wait to discover it.
