Towards the end of each year, in the cooler months, the Palm Garden of the park is the site of the annual 'Concert in the Park' festival featuring classical music by the Bangkok Symphony Orchestra and other prominent bands.

The sheltered niches dotted around the park allow visitors to relax, read a book or spend time simply gazing at the colorful flora and fauna. The park is also the habitat for indigenous fauna including water monitor lizards, palm sized mollusks, squirrels, varied bird life.

The Lumpini Park can be reached by taking the Sky Train to Saladaeng Station and is a short walk from there. It can also be reached from the nearby Lumpini and Silom MRT stations.
