Bank holiday weekends are the perfect opportunity to get out and explore England. Bank holidays give you that extra day to either take a weekend break or enjoy an interesting day out. If you’re based further south and have access to the coast try your hand at sea kayaking. This sports popularity has skyrocketed over recent months and is extremely easy to get involved in. However, if you are unable to getaway for the whole weekend but still want to do something fun with the family there are plenty of friendly kids days out to be had wherever you are. Theme parks are always a hit and particularly when the weather is good you can’t really go wrong. England is blessed with more than its fair share of quality theme parks including Alton Towers, Thorpe Park, Flamingo Land and Chessington World of Adventures.
