Post-2011, Egypt's tourism industry faced a significant downturn. However, by 2019, the sector began to recover, with increasing numbers of tourists each year. According to the World Tourism Organization, Egypt saw a 21% rise in tourist arrivals in 2019, signaling a positive trend for the country's travel industry.
