For travelers visiting or camping, the reserve has an on-site restaurant serving up Peruvian cuisine and of course fresh seafood dishes.  However those camping should plan to pack a cooler and enjoy their food on the beach by the ocean, a perfect way to enjoy the natural beauty of Paracas. For more scenery, hike the many sand dunes, offering you spectacular panoramic views, with the ocean on one side to the vast desert on the other. It is possible to see dolphins, sea lions, and a variety of birds down below in the ocean and on the shores.

If you are interested in more wildlife, a trip to Paracas can be paired with an excursion to the nearby Islas Ballestas another treasure trove of marine life. Tours leave to Ballestas in the morning, taking you on a two hour boat tour where you are often able to see a variety of wildlife including penguins!
