Planning A Holiday In BritainIf you are thinking of visiting the United Kingdom, a key question you should consider before deciding exactly where to go is whether you are traveling with children or not. If you are then your options are necessarily going to be reduced as you are going to need to stay where they can be entertained. If you have teenagers with you, I would suggest that you get tickets to one of Britain’s many music festivals.... If you are visiting the United Kingdom with children rather than teenagers, I would recommend that you visit one of the many theme parks that are dotted all over the country. Thorpe Park is a good option if you also want to go via London and see some of the capital’s attractions, but the best theme park for roller coasters and selection of entertainment is probably Alton Towers. A good idea is to stay in one of the hotels that are in the grounds of the park because then you are in easy walking distance of the rides and you can get deals on the rooms combined with entrance to the park itself. You can get Alton Towers hotel deals by having a look on the internet: just google ‘Alton Towers hotel offers’. If you are traveling without kids, I would recommend that you head straight for London. It is an expensive city to visit, but the culture – museums, galleries, architecture and music – can match that of most cities in the world. I would suggest you make sure that you visit the British Museum, the Tate Modern where there is currently an exhibition by Ai Wei Wei , and take a stroll through Hyde Park.Source: Free Articles from ArticlesFactory.com
