The fixed price can be inclusive or exclusive of surcharges such as taxes, fees for the landing and the takeoff, as well as overnight fees. There are companies that provide a breakdown of the charges per seat or per cabin. There are also charter companies that charge you by the hour instead. Charter companies that use this scheme are the preferable choice for flights with weather issues since they will only bill you for the time that the airplane is in the air. However, some companies may bill you for the taxes and waiting time as well.


Management

The way that air charter companies manage their operations can be a game changers. The hiring and training of crews and pilots, aircraft maintenance and accounting are all under the management. Some rely on external professional agencies that specialize on air charter management. Their services include additional training for pilots and flight attendants, scheduled safety checks, maintenance and billing. The companies that have good management will do everything from scheduling the private flight to preparing a back up flight in case you need to leave earlier or later because of the weather conditions.
