Shore excursions that surpass any expectation.

In my opinion there is no better way to explore the hidden beauties of Greece(the country with the tenth biggest coastline in the world)than a shore excursion.

There are many shore excursion available throughout Greece however the shore excursions mentioned below are some of the most interesting among them.

KATAKOLON (OLYMPIA) ANCIENT OLYMPIA  (5 HOURS)
Drive towards Ancient Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic Games and the most important sanctuary of Zeus, father of all gods and goddesses. The starting line is still visible, etched on the marble in the stadium there, inviting you to run and compete with the ancient athletes.  Enjoy the game the light plays on the soft greenery and dappled ancient columns in this wonderful and peaceful setting. Visit the archaeological museum beside the ancient site. It contains most interesting exhibits such as the Statues of Nike and Hermes.

SANTORINI ISLAND THIRA TOWN & OIA VILLAGE (3 HOURS)
Disembark at the Old port in Thira (not Athinios). Thira is an attractive town perched on the Caldera rim.  In Thira you will take a cable car up to the top of the Caldera. Here, you will have free time to explore the lanes of this little town. You will continue your tour with a drive to the quaint village of Oia.  Built on the Caldera rim, Oia Village is an excellent example of Cycladic architecture. With your escort, explore the village walking along the cobble-stoned streets and the white washed houses with blue shutters. Return to Thira and your ship.

PATMOS ISLAND
MONASTERY OF JOHN THE EVANGELIST & THE CAVE OF THE BOOK OF REVELATION
Enjoy a short drive to the village of Chora, where the Monastery of St. John, the Evangelist is built within the walls of a strong fortification. Walking uphill towards the entrance of the monastery, enjoy this magnificent structure, which was built 900 years ago. View the outstanding frescoes and interior decoration. Continue to the nearby Grotto and Monastery of the Apocalypse. Walk down the steps to the GrottoHealth Fitness Articles, see the niches in the wall that mark the pillow and ledge used as a desk by John the Evangelist.

Visiting Greece which is renown for its natural beauty and culture will by all means cover all your expectations.
