The 17th edition of the "24 hours of volleyball" tournament,Riviera Romagnola's Summer Sports Spectacular Articles hosted by Riccione Volley, is a testament to the enduring popularity and excitement of the sport. Scheduled for July 25-26 at the Riccione swimming stadium, this event promises non-stop action. Teams will rotate onto the court every hour, signaled by the blast of a trumpet, ensuring a dynamic and continuous competition.

The entry fee of €20 includes tournament participation, an event T-shirt, unlimited pool access during the event, and the use of the "24 hours" restaurant. Participants can also choose to camp out in tents or sleeping bags, with the promise of a warm breakfast featuring delicious bomboloni (Italian doughnuts) awaiting them in the morning. The Ultimate Test of Endurance: 100km Rimini Extreme

For those who find a standard marathon a walk in the park, the 4th edition of the 100km Rimini Extreme presents a formidable challenge. Doubling the distance of a traditional marathon, this ultra-marathon pushes athletes to their limits. The race begins on the night of July 25th at the Darsena of Rimini, plunging runners into a nocturnal quest for glory.

This year's race is particularly noteworthy due to the participation of Cristian Sighel, a visually impaired athlete from Baselga di Pine (TN), who recently placed 4th in the 24-hour Mai Zeder race, covering an impressive 174 km. Accompanied by his friend and seasoned ultra-marathoner Andrea Accorsi, Sighel aims to complete the 100km Rimini Extreme in 10-11 hours, a remarkable feat that has yet to be attempted.

The course winds through the state and provincial roads of Romagna and Marche, starting from the Arch of Augustus and finishing at the New Darsena San Giuliano in Rimini. This event meets all the standards of an international athletic competition and is a must-see for both seasoned athletes looking to challenge themselves and spectators who wish to witness the incredible endurance of these runners.

On the same weekend of July 25-26, Riccione will host the 5th edition of the boxing and Thai boxing tournament known as "The Great Challenge on the Four Corners." Organized by Fight Club Riccione, this event draws top national and international fighters to compete in the disciplines of boxing and Thai boxing.
