Winter Festivals

  • Fasnacht, Basel

In March, Basel bursts to life with its three-day carnival. Thousands of people take to the streets in colourful costumes and beautiful masks, marching in parades. Accompanied by a wind instrument orchestra, the vibrant atmosphere creates a unique experience.

  • Classic Music Festival, Interlaken

For a little culture, why not attend Switzerland’s most important classical music event? From mid-March to mid-April, both orchestra and soloist performances fill the air of Interlaken with beautiful symphonies.   • Fête de L’Escalade, Geneva
