The Various Types of Hotels

There are 3 main types of hotels available today. There are those that cater to business. There are those that are called budget, and there are luxury.

There are many reasons why people choose to stay in a hotel. Many times it is because they are traveling for a vacation or for business. Other times maybe they just need a night away from the house. Whatever the reason, there is a hotel that will fit a person's needs. Hotels fall into 3 main categories: business, budget, and luxury.

Business hotels are designed especially for a traveling business people. They usually include amenities such as free wireless internet, free newspapers, and possibly even room and laundry service that is included as well. They may offer a bar and a restaurant on-site for convenience as well. There may also be a shuttle service available to the business traveler as they will need this to get to where they need to be. Exercise areas are usually included in many hotels, but this is an amenity that is likely found in one designed for those traveling on business. These locations usually cost between $80 and $250.

Budget hotels are another type that you can stay in while traveling or have a need. This type is more for necessity than comfort. It will include what you need, and that is about it. It will probably have what you need to take a shower like soap and towels and the necessities for sleep like a bed with blankets. Most probably also have a television, but it may or may not include cable or internet access. These locations may cost as little as $20 and may be as much as $70.

Luxury hotels are probably what everyone would enjoy having, but not as many people can afford them. They are not named luxury for nothing. They will likely include everything you need as you would have at home, the extras that you might have if you stayed in a business hotel, and luxury items like restaurants staffed with fabulous chefs, spas, specialty items in the rooms like extra comfortable bedding, and fancy bath furnishings might also be included. The rooms might also be bigger and include more furniture as well. These locations may cost as much as $2,000 and as little as $129.

Depending on your need and budget, there is a hotel out there for you and your needs or desires. As you look for a hotel, you will probably run into some combinations of these 3 types especially the last 2. Some may be more middle-of-the-road not being luxurious but not being budget types either. They might offer some of the business amenities, with a possibility for luxury items at an extra charge.
