Being the most famous tourist destination in the world, France has something to offer to every traveller that comes its way. When you think of France, the first city that pops into your mind is Paris. The most romantic capital city, the home of EiffelTower, Champs Elysees and Notre Dame is the ideal destination for city slickers. 

If you’re looking to explore Provence, there’s only one choice of where to book a hotel in France. Avignon is an old graceful city, full of jaw dropping art and architecture. The experience begins from the approach, when you take in the wonderfully preserved stone ramparts which circle the city, and won’t end until you’ve seen the famous bridge (the Pond d’Avignon), the medieval fortress and the Palais des Papes (the papal palace). But perhaps the ultimate pleasure is people watching – now a thriving student city, it almost rivals Paris as a place to sit and watch the world go by. A must on any luxury holiday in France.

It’s a pretty, woodland course set over lush, rolling terrain and it offers great views. There are plenty of opportunities for the driver, but be careful as you approach the greens as they are particularly well-guarded. Annual host to the European Tour and now boasting a superior three-star hotel overlooking the 18th, AA Saint Omer is definitely one of the highlights of golf in northern France.

One of the most beautiful golf courses in Europe, let alone France, you can tell that Belle Dune has been designed as much for its visual appeal as for the good game of golf the course provides. During your game, the course requires you to stroll thorough one of the largest nature reserves in Europe, and despite the longish walks between holes and the sometimes unforgiving holes that make bogeys common when the coastal winds strike, it’s impossible not to wander the fairways and greens with a big smile on your face. 

The first beach we have here is found in Saint-Jean de Luz which is a beautiful village in Aquitaine. The town is just a stones throw from the Spanish border and it is part of the Basque Country. This charming village was primarily a fishing port which benefits from a sheltered bay, but today it is a very popular beach resort due to its sandy beaches and fine weather.

 
The town is also popular with surfers all year round who like to take advantage of the great waves that come in off the Atlantic coast. It is also renowned for having some excellent Sea Spa resorts. The main way of getting in to the village you will want to fly into Bordeaux, rent a car there and work you way down the coast.
