Panchgani is a picturesque hill station in Satara district of Maharashtra. Dhoom Dam

Dhoom Dam is a manmade dam located in the vicinity of Panchgani, Maharashtra. It is an earth fill and gravity dam built on Krishna River near Wai in 1982. It is the first dam built on Krishna River and also one of the famous tourist places in Panchgani.The dam is key source for Koregaon, Javli and Khandala taluks of Satara.The Dhoom Lake formed by the backwaters of the dam offers water activities like water scooters, speed boats, banana boats and motor boats.
