Canary Wharf is located in the Borough of Tower Hamlet down stream from Central London. It is known as the second financial district in London but is located away from the hustle and bustle of city life on the Isle of Dogs. The most striking thing about Canary Wharf is it’s skyline of skyscrapers that gleam in the sunlight and are meticulously lit at night to emphasis their sleek architectural beauty.

Although Canary Wharf is for the most part a business area designed with a central core of key buildings there is an area of green beauty amid the concrete structures. Jubilee Park offers a lovely green area with running water, pathways and benches to sit and relax.

The park itself is built at ground level though underneath it is the underground railway station, where it also got its name from as the railway line is known as the Jubilee Line. . It provides much needed greenery in the Canary Wharf area. Many of the hotels in Canary Wharf can keep you abreast of the events and mini concerts that take place in Jubilee Park.  In factComputer Technology Articles, the Canary Wharf hotels can provide maps and brochures of the area.

The location of Jubilee Park allows easy access to the underground shopping mall and underground tube station where there is a large semi circle of water to mark the entrance of the tube. It is central to the hotels in Canary Wharf too. Visitors can sit and enjoy the raised water feature which features fountains and a rough decorative stone wall. The soothing flowing water is very claming especially after a day of shopping underground. There are solitary trees planted around the park that provide shade from the rain or snow and a home for the birds in the area.
