In the first part of this article series, I have described some of the most effective strategies to immediately save space in your suitcase. In the second part of this article series, I will provide more advanced tips on increasing the efficiency of packing your suitcase. What I mean by efficiency is how effective the packing and unpacking of your suitcase is. The easier and less time spent packing and unpacking, then the higher the efficiency. Here are the top three travel packing tips in this area.

Tip #1: Pack your pajamas or sleepwear last

Because pajamas and sleepwear are usually one of the lightest items to pack, this follows nicely with our previous tips on packing from heaviest to lightest. However there is also an added benefit to packing your pajamas or sleepwear last. By packing them last, you will be able to easily retrieve them when you arrive at your destination, without having to dig around in your suitcase and causing all the other items to be a mess.

Tip #2: Bag your shoes, and stuff them in the corners of your luggage

Bagging your shoes in plastic bags is a good way to keep your shoes from dirtying your clothes in your luggage bag. Also it helps to keep them organized properly, so that it is easier for you to retrieve them out of your luggage bag. As for space saving tips, it is best to stuff them in the corners of your suitcase so that you can maximize the space used.

Tips #3: Wear certain items with you instead of packing them

Certain items such as jackets can be worn instead of being packed into your suitcase. This is a great idea as sometimes a jacket comes in handy when it gets cool. A good example would be when you are on the plane, as it does get chilly sometimes in the plane, and a jacket would be very useful to keep you warm during the flight. By wearing certain items, then definitely you will free up more space in your suitcase.

Packing your suitcase can be tedious, but with careful planning, it can actually be a lot of fun. It may sound weird that it may be a lot of fun, but once again treat it as if you are playing a game of Tetris where you are carefully packing your items to fill up all the empty spaces. If you start the process with this right mindset, then in no time your packing is completeFree Web Content, and you can go off to your dream vacation stress free!
