The Mexican Caribbean has become one of the favorite destinations for thousands of tourists from all over the world,Tulum, the must-see destination in the Mexican Caribbean Articles but do you know why Tulum has become such a popular destination? In this blog I will tell you why.

Tulum is located 81 mi from Cancun International Airport or the equivalent of a 1 hour 30 minute drive to Tulum, practically a destination that is very easy to get to. Popularly known for its great hotel zone with all kinds of offers for tourists looking to stay in luxury hotels or in cabins to have a more in touch with nature experience, Tulum is ideal for vacationing.

Sometimes when we decide to go on vacation we are limited by the activities and amenities that the all-inclusive hotel offers, that is why Tulum stands out from other destinations in the Mexican Caribbean. When you get to Tulum you will want to get out and start touring each of the tourist spots in the area, so let me mention some of the best known.

Tulum Beaches: If you love the sea breeze, the calm waters of the Caribbean and the soft sand, Playa Paraiso will certainly let you enjoy a quiet afternoon to enjoy the sea and a good tan,

Know the Cenotes: One of the great attractions of the area are the famous Cenotes. Cenotes are caverns through which subway rivers run and there are of all sizes, these incredible natural formations are unique to the area because millions of years ago an asteroid fell to earth and was the cause of the extinction of the Dinosaurs. In places like the cenotes you can practice activities such as kayaking, snorkeling or just swimming in them.

Visit the Archaeological Zones: Tulum is one of the few places where the Mayan civilization built their ceremonial centers on the seashore, an example of this is the archaeological zone of Zamá, which in Mayan means "dawn". When visiting Zamá you will have the opportunity to visit the Castillo, the highest and most important foundation of the entire zone.

We recommend you to take more than 3 days to have a complete experience in Tulum and live a true connection with nature. Many of the tourists who decide to visit Tulum choose to rent a pair of bicycles and tour the communities in the area and interact with the locals. You can find incredible spots to take pictures and share them on social networks. Unique views such as the beaches of Tulum, the archaeological sites and the cenotes are moments that I am sure you will not forget.

In conclusion, if you are thinking of visiting Tulum, there is no better decision to take a vacation out of the ordinary, full of peace, adventure and incredible experiences in nature.
