The airline now offers a richer and more diverse menu, tailored specifically to the routes and adjusted seasonally to cater to the evolving tastes and preferences of its passengers.

The overhaul in catering services is evident in both the meal and beverage offerings. The economy class now enjoys modernized facilities, while the business class has been upgraded to mirror the standards of restaurants and hotels, featuring larger plates and standard glassware. The menu selections have been completely refreshed to enhance the dining experience.

Signature Dishes and Beverages

Business class passengers are treated to signature dishes, such as the traditional Vietnamese beef noodle soup, which is served on flights originating from Vietnam. For return flights from key destinations like the UK, France, Germany, Australia, and Japan, main courses are presented directly on large dishes by flight attendants. The beverage selection has expanded to include fresh juices, three special cocktails crafted by Vo Tan Si—a renowned mixologist and member of the World Bartenders Association—and an assortment of six teas and three coffee types. Notably, the airline offers brand-name pure water and carbonated mineral water.

Special Focus on Signature Vietnamese Beef Noodle Soup

Since September 2015, business class passengers on flights from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to London's Heathrow airport have enjoyed the beef noodle soup as one of the breakfast options. This dish is part of Vietnam Airlines' strategy to introduce traditional Vietnamese cuisine to its international passengers. Following its debut on the London route, the dish is expected to be featured on flights to France, Germany, Australia, and Japan, coinciding with the deployment of the B787-9 and A350-900 aircraft on these routes.

Commitment to Quality Ingredients and Preparation

The ingredients for the airline's meals are sourced for their freshness and prepared by skilled chefs from Noi Bai Catering Services Joint-Stock Company and MTV Catering Services Limited Company. These efforts ensure that passengers enjoy a high-quality dining experience reminiscent of popular noodle shops in Hanoi. In recognition of its high standards, Noi Bai Catering Services was awarded "The Best Caterer" by Japan Airlines for two consecutive years (2013-2014).

Vietnam Airlines' commitment to upgrading its service quality reflects its ambition to not only enhance passenger experience but also to strengthen its competitive position in the global aviation market. By focusing on every detail of the service delivery, from the menu design to the choice of aircraft, Vietnam Airlines is poised to achieve its goal of becoming a top-tier airline in the industry.
