Visit the Cosmopolitan Island of Mykonos

Cyclades  is a complex of islands locaded in the Aegean Sea, south-east of the mainland of Greece and consist of about 220 islands.

I am absolutely sure that any traveler that has ever visited Greece would put this magnificent country among his/hers favorite holiday destinations. Greece is located in southeastern Europe and has the tenth longest coastline in the world at 14,880 km (9,246 mi) in length, featuring an enormous number of  islands.

Cyclades  is a complex of islands locaded in the Aegsan Sea, south-east of the mainland of Greece and consist of about 220 islands, with the major ones being Amorgos, Anafi, Andros, Antiparos, Delos, Eschate, Ios, Kea, Kímolos, Kythnos, Milos, Mykonos, Naxos, Paros, Folegandros, Serifos, Sífnos, Síkinos, Syros, Tinos, and Thira or Santoríni. The majority of the smaller islands are uninhabited.
The island of Mykonos is a one of the top tourist destinations worldwide. This mainly happens because of the cosmopolitan characteristics of the island and its active nightlife.

There are several ways through which a traveler can access the island of Mykonos.
By plane:Mykonos is one of the few Cycladic Islands with a major airport. The airport of Mykonos is located 4 kilometers (2.5 miles) southeast of the town of Mykonos and the transfer time from Chora ro the airport is about 10 minutes. For your transportation around the island there is a public bus service which operates on a regular basis from the airport to the town centre, taxi which can be easily found at the taxi rank situated in front of the terminal buildingScience Articles, and shuttle bus  and rent-a-car services.

By ferry:The town and its harbor are perched on the western coast of the island and ferries arrive and depart from there on a daily basis. Specifically for the tourists that come from central Europe and travel through Italy there are ferries to Patra(Greece) where  the visitor can directly take buses to the port of Piraeus and from there to Mykonos by ferry.

Santorini is most preferably visited during the summer months due to the Mediterranean climate of Greece  that enables visitors to enjoy their holiday to the full.
