From here one can embark on fishing boats for day trips to Spinalonga, Elounda and the picturesque Mirabello Bay.

The landscape of the port is complemented by two lovely islands situated at the entrance of the port. You can tour the islands to view a light house and the chief attraction – the Agion Panton (All Saints) chapels where you can view some interesting frescoes.
