Who Is Covered by a UK Tier 5 Visa?

You may want to know, “Who is covered by a UK Tier 5 visa?” There are two main groups of people who are covered. People seeking temporary work applications may apply under this level of visa.

If you are issued a visa, it will allow a maximum of 24 months to stay in the UK. You will need to have a sponsor as well as a Certificate of Sponsorship, and your sponsor will be the organization that is employing you. The sponsor agrees that you will follow all the rules and guidelines of the visa.

Once your UK Tier 5 visa has expired, you must leave the country. You cannot try to change this visa to another level. It is simply what it is: a temporary visa for a stay up to a maximum of 24 months. People who receive approval under this system are allowed to bring their dependents with them. The dependents may work in the UK if the original application was issued for longer than 12 months.

Another group of people who may receive a UK Tier 5 visa are people from 18 to 30 years of age who fall under one of the youth mobility schemes. This may be under the Au Pair Program or the Commonwealth Working Holidaymaker system. It mainly allows young people who want to experience living in the UK the opportunity to do so for a limited time frame. Once the stay has expired, the person is required to return to his or her home country. These visas do not allow the person to bring dependents with them.

A UK Tier 5 visa will never lead to permanent residency in the country. This level of visa does not even lead to any possibility of permanent residency. It is only a temporary visa that will expire at the end of its allotted time span. If you want to be considered for permanent status in the UKBusiness Management Articles, you must start with a different level of application.
