Eype beach - dogs permitted.
West Bay - no dogs to the west of East Cliff
Lyme Regis - between 1st April and 31st October no dogs on Lyme Regis's front beach and on leads for rest of year. Dogs allowed on Monmouth Beach, Cobb Gate and East Beach.
Charmouth beach - no dogs from 1st May to 30th September.

East Devon beaches

Beer beach - dogs are not permitted on the western side of the beach from 1st May to 30th September.
Budleigh Salterton - dogs are not permitted on the main beach from 1st May to 30th September.
Seaton - dogs are not permitted on the main beach from 1st May to 30th September.
Sidmouth - dogs are not permitted on the main beach from 1st May to 30th September.

The beauty of the West Dorset and East Devon area is that even when there is restricted access to the beaches there are so many other wonderful places to walk with your dog. With public footpaths and bridleways criss-crossing the area you will be spoilt for choice.
