Are you planning a wedding and have no idea where it will take place? Are you completely overwhelmed with choices, but you don't know how to make your final choice? If so, then it sounds like you could use some help with making your selection. This is particularly true if you are struggling with a choice between two or more venues. However, with the right information, you can and will be able to successfully narrow down your choices to one venue. It is the intention of this article to discuss 3 things to consider when choosing your wedding venues in an effort to aid those who are struggling to choose between venues.

The first and perhaps most obvious thing to consider when choosing your wedding venue is whether or not you want separate venues for your wedding and reception. One of the biggest decisions that are made regarding the selection of a venue is whether or not the actual ceremony will take place in a different location than the reception. As a result, you should take a moment to stop and think about what your expectations are for the day. Specifically, do you want your guests to travel? Another thing to consider when choosing your wedding venue is the number of guests attending your wedding. The size of your venue will greatly depend on the size of your wedding party. As a result of such, you should take the time to finalize, or at the very least forecast, the number of people you plan on inviting in an effort to aid in you finding a venue that can accommodate all of your guests. After all, you want enough space for everyone to actually enjoy themselves. The third thing to consider when choosing your wedding venue is the time of day your wedding will take place. This is especially relevant for those guests that you plan on inviting to your ceremony that may have children.

Obviously, the day is about the happy couple getting married, but if you want your family and friends to come celebrate your marriage, it would behoove you to consider the best time of day for most of the people invited. Typically ceremonies take place in the early evening, leaving parents enough time to get back to their children; especially if no children are allowed at the reception.

Whether you are struggling to choose between venues or you simply do not know where to begin your search for a venue, there are things that you should and must consider. This is particularly true if you are inexperienced in wedding planning or if you have a multitude of demands that must be met for a potential location. Specifically, you should consider 3 things when choosing your wedding venue, which include determining whether or not you want separate venues for your wedding and reception, the number of guests attending your wedding and the time of day your wedding will take place.
