There's two new ways to get links, thousands of quality links to a web site. In the past it has been very tedious for a webmaster to get links, particularly if he was interested in getting large numbers of quality links.
He generally had to contact the owner of another web site and politely ask to get links, usually in the form of a reciprocal link. In other words he would put a link on his website to the other guys site in exchange for a link back. Works great from a search engine stand point but very tiresome and time consuming.

Glen Stevens owns several domains and just recently was able to get hundreds of links to just one of his brand new domains in 3 days. "it used to take me weeks to get my new sites indexed in the search engines but now I can get indexed in Google, Yahoo, Alta Vista, and a couple of the others in 3 or 4 days and start getting free search engine traffic immediately" says Mr. Stevens.
"It's very easy, all you have to do is put a simple little code on your web site which will randomly show a link to one of thousands of other web sites. These thousands of other web sites will also have that little bit of code which every once in a while will show a link to your website" he says.
If you have a few thousand sites out there that periodically show a link back to you at the same time a search engine spiders that site you can see that it doesn't take long to create large numbers of links back to your site. "The thing that amazed me the most was how many of these links that I got pointing to my site that were from web sites that had a Google page ranks of 4, 5, and even 6" Glen said.
