Here are five simple ways to develop the focus that will propel you forward:

1. Suspend your disbelief. Put it on a shelf and open yourself to actuallyexperience new ways of creating positive momentum toward realizing your dreams. The most limiting factor is to think that because something is simple,Focus on Your Dream Articles it won'twork. When you buy into this, you have either just placed a tremendous bolderin your path or veered off the path completely.

2. Imagine Consciously. The conscious aspect involved in imagining on purposeis very important. When we're in a place of despondency and feeling the densityof the hardships in life, we're imagining very powerfully, to our detriment. We've all been there at one time or another. When our imagination is activatedin this way, we get more and more of the density we want to be rid of. Yetuniversal laws cannot be denied, what we place our attention to, increases. When you're imagining everything that can go wrong because what has gone wrong has been in your field of attention, it of course takes you backward andfurther away from how you really want to live. Consciously decide to use yourimagination differently, to your advantage. Imaging what you DO want withoutpaying attention to the absence of it's existence in your current life. Imaginewhat it will feel like as though it's taking place right now, this moment. Thisis what being in the moment is. Use your moments wisely by deciding to imaginewhat it is you want, this moment.

3. Daydream.  Yes, daydream.  This is a valuable tool that those who are living their dreams have practiced often and allowed this process to help them build the bridge from where they were to where they are today, enjoying the lives they've created. Those who are living their dreams have stopped listening to the voices of the past who have yelled at them for daydreaming. It's just a matter of using your daydreams on purpose, setting aside a moment or two many times throughout you day so it becomes a respite that rejuvenates you, it renews your energy.  When you daydream, make sure you are actually feeling that life you'd like to be living. Imagination fuels your daydreaming.

4. Direct your attention toward the positive. This is very different and waybeyond thinking positively. Deciding to look for what's positive, changes yourfocus toward what is in your life right now that reminds you of the abundanceyou have. Directing your attention toward the positive alters your feelingstoward gratitude rather than lack. One thought that feels better than the last, even a little better will help you focus on what is positive right now.  Thenmake sure to put as much emphasis on feeling that positive aspect as fully aspossible. When your thoughts and feelings are in alignment with what you trulywant, you've take the first half of the action to move forward; the second partof the action will be steps that you take, that you enjoy taking, because youhave opened yourself up to inspiration that positive thought and feeling haveproduced.  It's easy then to move forward with doing that action because youare inspired to take the step.

5. Engage. This means begin immediately.  There's no need to wait; actually, this moment is the best moment to begin, it always is.
