If you want even cheaper clip in hair extensions, go for ones made with synthetic hair. These extensions use artificial materials such as silicone, monofilament and polyester to make up each weft. You can find synthetic clip in hair extensions in discount beauty stores and general beauty supply stores in packs, and you can obtain the full set of extensions at around $20 to $25. If you wanted the cheapest, these are the ones. 

The problem with cheap synthetic hair extensions is limited styling freedom. You can wash them as frequently as human hair clip ins, and you can’t heat style them because the hair can be damaged. The synthetic hair is heavier than human hair so it won’t blow dry as well, lying flat or sticking up in the wrong direction, making it harder to blend them in with your natural locks. 

If you need cheap clip in hair extensions for a night out or a fancy dress party, they are a great choice because your wallet won’t suffer too much. However, if you need to boost your styles for a formal event such as prom or a wedding, then you should invest in higher quality human hair clip in extensions.
