According to a survey conducted by National Pest Management Association,How to Get Rid Of BedBugs Articles there has been a dramatic rise in the number of complaints related to the bed bugs. A normal infestation in the form of blotches is not even observed before these bugs start ruining the room occupants.

An average pesticide can no successfully eradicate them but a well organised approach can definitely help you get rid of bedbugs.

Identify the Actual BedBug

It has been observed that these small bugs reside where occupants sleep. Begin your search from where you sleep. Check if there are any dark dots, blood smears which are normally left behind by the squashed bugs, discarded shells at the tufts and seams of your mattress.

De-clutter and clean the region thoroughly

After you are able to locate the infestation, that region requires a meticulous cleaning. If there is any clutter formation around, remove it to get the bed free from any hiding laces. These bedbugs are tiny creatures that can hide themselves instantly. Wash the bedding properly and let them dry in the sun or heat for extra long hours. Even your clothes need to be checked carefully and in some cases, getting them laundered will be the best thing to do.

Vacuum the Furniture and the Floor

Paying special attention to the corners and edges of your room walls, vacuum clean the whole carpet. You can also put to use a brush to brush off the extra dirt and loosen any tiny bug. Brushing helps to lose the bedbug or their eggs’ grip from floor, carpet, mattress or furniture etc.

One of the successful methods to keep the bedbugs away from your mattress is to over them by the zip tight covers. Even if there are any bedbugs in your pillow or mattress then these covers will keep sealed in without letting them out and spoil your other stuff.
Treat the area

Use bedbug powder instead of spray. Sprinkle the powder over the area so that when a bedbug crawls over it, the powder starts working effectively. Eggs hatches in 2 weeks, so you need to re-treat the area to ensure that there are no bedbugs left in your room. If there are any cavities or holes where these bedbugs could hide, close all such holes and vents so that there is no place for them to hide.
