With a giving mood, fashion could be charitable. In my previous postings, we have mentioned the collaboration between Gucci and UNICEF, also FFAWN. The shoe giant, Jimmy Choo, also has teamed up with the Elton John AIDS Foundation for Project PEP since 2005. This year Jimmy Choo has designed a capsule collection of accessories and shoes for EJAF.

This collection ranges over high-heels,Jimmy Choo Shoes Collection for Elton John AIDS Foundation Articles ballet flats, clutch bags and totes featuring the bold punk rock pattern. 25 percent of the profit will be denoted to Cape Town centre which assists victims of rape. Tamara Mellon, owner of Jimmy Choos told Vogue, “We are women helping women and we are pround to continue our collaboration with the compelling and urgent initiatives of the Elton John Aids Foundation and to provide a voice for under-privileged women in South Africa.” This charitable collection is priced at $95 for the flip-flops up to $995 for a large handbag. The limited edition range will be available in November at its department stores and official website, supported by a campaign shot by Terry Richardson and featuring Choo favourite Angela Lindvall.
