I’m always curious, sometimes furious about the price of L.A.M.B products designed by Gwen Stefani. She seems enjoy exhausting every penny from your pocket with mediocre designs. Don’t get me wrong. The average $300 tag is not that surprising compared to big brands, but almost everyone prefers an Italian or French bag such as LV and Gucci at similar price, especially when they are on sale. Actually, the only reason that makes me hesitate to buy a new pair of L.A.M.B shoes is the expensive price, although they are edgy and perfectly fit my outfits.
So I was really shocked by the $85 price tags attached on the L.A.M.B. Gilded Flap wallet. it may be the cheapest one on the collection. However, the design is a disaster for me. It reminds me of those cheap wallets sold on stall in 1980s. Renaissance of the 80s style has prevailed this year, although I don’t appreciate at all. Maybe the rocky and tough looks give people a sense of security in the turbulent world.However, quality of the canvas wallet is every bad and the color looks just washed-out clothes, needless to say the zip and hardware of inferior quality. I can’t imagine that any fashionista is willing to carry a wallet like this. But if you have limited budget and enjoy recalling the good old days, the L.A.M.B. Wallet is not a bad choice.
