Hairstylist John Nollet, the French-born coiffeur has partnered with two of the biggest brands in itinerant glamour to bring his perfect cuts to women around the world, one is Louis Vuitton.

Louis Vuitton makes made-to-measure trunks for John Nollet. Three veritable magician’s trunks are filled with draws and compartments containing every toll he needs to cut and color, from pins and curling irons- for U.S., European, and Asian outlets- to a custome silver mixing bowl and even a stool and mirror. Nollet has everything he needs to make custom hair accessories, and there are also places to store the amateur photographer and painter’s wares, such as his 1970s Polaroid camera and the 12 iPods he had a D.J. friend program with specific music for each country on his visit.

So as to meet Nollet’s edgy demand, trunks are proposed the black trimmings and palladium hardware to give a more contemporary feel to the pieces. These trunks will be displayed in the Louis Vuitton store in each city he visits, allow him to travel with complete freedom.
