In 2008,Miu Miu Taipei 101 Limited Edition Articles to celebrate the first Miu Miu shop in Taipei, Miu Miu came up with the Miu Miu Taipei 101 Limited Edition.

The Taipei 101 bag is made of the skin of calves. The tradition hand-rubbed method makes it archaistic. On the surface Miu Miu insisted on clown theme of her Harlequin bags and created the limited collection of hand-painted leather bags for the spring opening of the Miu Miu store in Taipei, Taiwan. The bag features an intricate painting of a woman surrounded and covered by harlequin diamonds. Each bag comes with two packets of hand-painted illustrations which were made by Liselotte Watkins, a fashion illustrator. Her drawings have been featured in Vogue, Elle, Glamour and Mademoiselle. Fashion loves her for her ability to give her characters true character and a sense of a fashionista's attitude.

Only 50 bags were made and “MIU MIU Taipei 101 Limited Edition” was engraved on a special purple plaque in each bag to commemorate this edition of the bag. It was sold at a price of NT$52,000.
