Burch Tory’s 2010 Spring Collection is successful this season mostly for its reasonable price points. However, the appeal of making ordinary things extraordinary is also the big reason.

With William Eggleston,Tory Burch 2010 Spring Collection Articles Alexander Calder, and “the styles of the nerdy schoolgirl, the free-spirit hippie, the cool surfer chick and the girl next door” as inspirations for Tory Burch’s spring lineup, things could easily have become chaotic. Yet the lineup came together beautifully, perhaps because Burch has a keen eye for blending eclecticism with straightforward prep. Leather and denim were worked as trim blazers and button-downs; silk tulip and slim skirts came in sequins or tie-dyed prints. For every supercool piece — see the sleeveless leather vest, a knit-looped gold top — there was a basic, such as lightweight trenches and patterned blouses. Even the shoes had charm: adorable taupe suede moccasins, as flats or pumps.
You must have too many surprises for a pair of eyelet shorts or a classic oxford, metallic tweeds, gingham suits, bright florals and a striped blazer all in classic look and they are affordable in that collection.
