You wrote about a topic that you feel you are an expert on. There are people out there doing seminars trying to educate or push a program that relates to your topic. Be a guest speaker on one of their tele-seminars and promote your eBook. There are list owners out there that really don’t want to spend all their time doing the content for their lists but have to have quality information to offer people. It gives you a free way to promote and sell your eBook as you already have a targeted, interested audience.

Write articles about your book, or offer excerpts from your book on a blog. Blogs are free to set up, and a lot of times, in the blog communities you can link up with others that have similar interest and link share.  Posting pieces from the book to grab people’s attention and get them interested in it is a great way to sell your eBook. Article posting to different article websites helps to build your reputation as a writer and aids in creating followers. This tactic may not pay off over night, but once it does you will have a following that will be waiting for what you have to publish next.

Create ads called ezine ads and get them posted in free publications. Feel free to use services that charge as well, but take advantage of the free services first. Finding newsletters in the topic area of what you are writing about that will reach your target market will help increase sales for your eBook. My advice before you pay for anything is to use every available source there is were you can get your info out Free. Look seriously at Press Releases. Just one write up in a major paper and you are on the way

There are also sites out there where people looking to promote products can help sell your eBook. Places like MarketPond or Clickbank offer your product to marketers to put on their own sites and promote for a profit. This can be a great way to help you spread the word about your eBook and generate more sales.

EBay is another place to use to market your eBook and increase sales. There are over 150 million people on eBay just waiting to see your eBook. My only recommendation is that you are cautious when using eBay; make sure that your eBook is copyright protected. It would be a shame for someone to buy your eBook and try to sell it as their own and make a bigger profit at a lower cost because they have nothing invested in.
