The golden rule of marketing is – the more visible your product or service is,Aerial Advertising – Aim High to Gain High! Articles the greater are the chances that people will purchase it. Aerial advertising is something that makes your banner stand high in the sky so it gets noticed by a lot of people at the same time. The human eye is trained to notice things in motion better than things that are static. This is the concept behind flying banners. When a small airplane carries a business banner behind it, the chances of it getting noticed by the people on the ground are very high and so is their recall value.

The main idea behind aerial advertising is to let the company's identity be seen so that an impression can be made over hundreds of thousands of people. Aerial advertising does have a high reach and it helps companies to consolidate their brand images to a wide audience. These messages, known as airplane signs, get good exposure because they become so prominent when they fly in the sky behind the planes.

Airplane signs or airplane banners have become important methods of advertising. Big corporate entities have realized its potential the most. Even within the ambit of aerial advertising, there are certain strategies that are employed to make sure the banner gets maximum visibility. In some cases, the planes are made to hover or circle in the sky above important areas for a while so that more eyeballs could be attracted towards them.

Generally, such aerial billboards towed by airplanes soar at approximately 1,000 feet above the ground or about 500 feet high above the waters so that the message or logo can be clearly seen and read. However, this depends upon the company and the way they implement their aerial advertising strategy. Studies reveal that if banners are kept flying in the sky for a half hour, they can bring the attention of 88% more people towards them than land banners do. Amazingly, about 79% of the people will recall what brand the banner was promoting, which is something that cannot be said about land banners at all. Such studies are inducing more companies to incorporate aerial advertising as their premier advertising platform rather than using it just as an aside.

The higher you climb, the more you get noticed. This is the simple strategy followed with aerial marketing. Depending upon the company's demands, airplanes can be made to fly over different geographical regions. Airplane advertising is said to be very effective when the places targeted are populated with people who are static in the particular location, such as racetracks, festival venues, theme parks, exhibition grounds, downtown areas, crowded beaches and ballparks.

Aerial advertising can be used to promote any part of the company's identity, such as its logo, its catchphrase, a particular product or even its corporate colors. The corporate colors flying in the sky create a great mental imagery and association with the product in the minds of the watchers. Today, aerial advertising is becoming an important point on companies' advertising agenda and companies are beginning to believe that training people's eyes upwards is the best way to create great brand consciousness.
