For eons and eons wise and shrewd merchants and traders have understood the value of giving loyal customers promotional items to show their appreciation. They have also been visionary enough to know that giving away a little something as a teaser before a purchase or sale is a good investment because it is a very effective strategy for making a sale.

Think about this,Using Promotional Mugs As Teasers Articles when you go into a large, or maybe not so large, business that sells food, often times there will be samples for customers to taste.  Of course the reasoning behind these samples is to ultimately sell the product. It is amazing how many times this is the outcome of the sampling.  If it weren't a proven strategy for increasing the sale of the food sample in, you would not see so much of it happening in stores.

This strategy of giving a promotional item before a sale is actually brilliant and should be considered by all businesses as a way to promote their products and services.  Giving away items such as promotional mugs you have to sell your products.

1.  How about offering people who walk through your place of business, a sample of some of the beverages you sell in the name of brand recognition with the promotional mugs you have purchased just for this tasting.  Customers may take home the mug they tested your beverages in even though they may not have made a purchase at this time.  Remember, as soon as your promotional mug is carried out your door it becomes advertising for you; and promotional mugs do create sales through visibility.

2. Now let's tackle a little more unconventional sampling strategy by a taking on how people operate a stationary store or business can “tease" customers or potential customers with their promotional mugs.  The question becomes - how to use the sampling technique with the products you sell?  Simple, why not set up testing or sampling centers around your store where people can sit down and test or sample your products such as: pens, markers, scissors, staplers, stickers etc. - displayed in the promotional mugs they will be given as an appreciation for coming into the shop.

Nothing sells better than items that people know how to use and feel comfortable with so, it might be a good idea to put some of the less well understood products into the promotional mugs sitting at the centers.  With you or your staff around to demonstrate how to use these less well-known products, you have just made them in to known products.

At the centers have samples of different ways your products can be used to say... make all occasion cards, invitations, letterheads, business cards etc. Many times people do not see the possibilities in the products that are sold because they have trouble thinking out of the box.

Hopefully these two examples will spark your interest in thinking out of the box and becoming created with Hal you entice people to buy your products or services using promotional mugs as a teaser.
