One among the ancient philosophies is that of Astrology and is strong even today. In the ancient Greece the concept of Astrology developed many thousands years ago. The Greek evolved the concept that position of planets and the sun have an effect on the life of a person and the events of future. The real term “astrology” has a Greek Origin and means the “Science of Stars.”

If we glance at the times gone by it becomes known that individuals in the past made use of positions of the moon and the sun in sky and also appearance of a few constellations in the form of time clocks for the plantation of crops  and also in the prediction of weather. The constellations were used by the nomadic tribes for the navigation which was used by the individuals of many societies.

William Lilly,Astrology Traditions Articles who was a well known astrologer of 17th century made the astrological phenomenon more acceptable and called it the Christian Astrology.  The book written by William was received highly and become immensely popular.

A great controversy was put up against Mr. Lilly in the year 1666 because he had predicted the fire of the city of London 14 years prior to its occurrence. Initially the people held him responsible for the accident but then after trial in the court of law he was proved innocent.

The personal horoscope chart of a person is related with the date, time and the year of birth. This is so because a year is divided into twelve parts and each part is named after the constellation appearing in sky at that time.

There are both negative and positive aspects of a horoscope. In order to customize individual horoscope a person must know his or her date of birth and the sign under which a person falls.

The horoscopes are twelve in number Pisces, Aquarius, Capricorn, Sagittarius, Scorpion, Libra, Virgo, Leo, Gemini, Taurus and Aeries. A large number of people read personal horoscopes from the daily local newspaper yet these horoscopes are really vague and are not tailored to meet the needs of each person.

In order to obtain the most authentic reading a personal chart is designed on the basis of the actual place, month, year and time of birth.

The people of China use their own horoscopes. The Chinese astrologers utilize methods that are based on the animals such as the rat, tiger, ox, dragon, rabbit, monkey, snake, horse, boar, dog and the sheep. The origin of the Chinese astrology is uncertain.

Consultation of the horoscopes must be considered a matter of fun. People who plan their daily routine in accordance with the horoscopes are misguided and must not get it on their nerves.

Of course, getting an exclusive chart made is a different matter but to plan the daily life accordingly to these is ludicrous.  Reading a person’s horoscopes is guidance to what a person’s nature is and also helps improvise relations.

But apart from the horoscopes what a person wants to achieve is important.
