Psychic Within Us

All of us are psychic to some extent. We are after all beings of body and spirit and we do have powers of intuition, observation and compassion that separate us from the rest of the animal kingdom today.

All of us are psychic to some extent. We are after all beings of body and spirit and we do have powers of intuition, observation and compassion that separate us from the rest of the animal kingdom. These same powers of intuition, observation and compassion that help us understand, even without words, the needs and emotions of others help us live together in a society. It is these self same powers however that help us tune in to the energies of the psychic world. The language of the psychic world is largely an unspoken one. It speaks to all of us at gut level and moves us in many different ways.

When we rely too much on what is spoken, we lose touch with our abilities to hear what is unsaid, what is said by the pauses in speech. When we start looking at only what is shown and displayed, we lose our ability to see what is and what it can be. When we close selves to what our senses are really telling us and only sense what our mind tells us we are sensing, we lose are ability to be more sensitive and more intuitive. We dampen our psychic powers.

We all do that. It is a part of growing and learning. Actually more importantly it is a survival strategy. We have to learn to filter out the static and focus only on what is necessary so that we can survive. You won’t last long in the jungle if you can hear everything but not know that the roar of the lion nearby means trouble. We will not be able to find our way home if all we can see every leaf on every tree and every bird that flies. We need to get a degree of focus and start pinpointing the clues that guide us home. That comes with learning to ignore what is unnecessary to you on the task you are on.  This is in essence learning – with your conscious mind you seek to learn the patterns.

But after that knowing these patterns you discard a lot of information that your senses have picked up and focus only on what fits the pattern you know. This results in your senses picking up so much more information that you just don’t choose to see and this denial of the powers of the senses is in effect the negation of your own psychic powers. You have chosen not to see.

To unleash your psychic powers, choose to see, choose to hear. Don’t assume anything, open your heart and mind and try to learn anew. Don’t overanalyzeArticle Submission, go with the flow and learn to trust your gut and your destiny.
