Think your Pontiac sedan could travel up a mountain? Not without a paved road, it couldn’t. For climbing mountains, a jeep is the vehicle to use.

2) Go to a jamboree: Jeep jamborees are off-road adventures where a group of enthusiasts voyage across exciting and rugged terrain. These treks were originated back in 1953 by a man named Mark A. Smith. Smith is still trekking today and is going to release his “Top 10” trek list this summer. The first jamboree group traveled through the Sierra Nevada Mountains along the Rubicon Trail back in the fifties.

3) Go camping: Who needs to travel the freeways to a boring campground with toilets, showers and rules? With a 4x4 vehicle, a person’s imagination and compass are his or her only limits.
