Ford Transit – One Of The Most Favorite Vans In Britain

The Ford Transit is awarded again for the third year in a row. It is a reason to celebrate for the Ford since the Transit Connect got the third place this year as one of the best Van of the year.

The above mentioned survey has been published by Fleet News magazine. They have taken the initiative with the help of the most celebrated leasing companies in Britain. The leasing companies together have access over more than 1,000,000 vehicles that were included in the survey. Other than their own vehicles they included another 183,000 light commercial cars and 840,000 cars. The survey followed a random choice method and cannot be biased from any point of view.  To get more accurate result the survey has included a huge numbers of vehicles which makes a very important point to its result.

The feedback by the editor of Fleet magazine highlights the importance of the survey in a delighted manner. In brief, he said that the survey has been conducted by most reliable and efficient group and one of the most happening surveys of the year. The survey included the vote of the car riders who travel many hundred and thousand miles in life and understand exactly what they need to drive safe and comfortable.

Steve Kimber who is the Commercial vehicle director of the Ford Britain has commented on the joyous event.  According to him, it is a continuous effort from the company as well as a continuous led from last 44 years to hold a constant leading position in the commercial vehicle market. The result of this year again proves the 'reliability record' as constant as the other years. It makes the company glad and it is kind of endorsement to be top again for coming years.

Let's look at the history of the Ford once in a brief. The company has started its journey with Ford Transit in the year of 1965, October. The production and the industry have grown in its way, but the company never has to look back or never has to suffer from any kind of quality crisis. The van was started the company at Ford's Langley facility in Berkshire, England where the famous aircraft factory was situated at the time of second World War initially and finally moved to Southampton where the existing company is found till date.
