Coming back for the 4th time in 5 years, this logistic support company in Oman is getting delivered its latest order, adding 4 new RHIBs to their existing fleet of 10 ASIS Boats.
The newest RHIBs measuring 8 meter in length will be used for transferring personnel from the shore to their ships in the Gulf of Oman and the Red Sea, and vice versa. The RHIBs will contribute significantly to International security companies involved in the global fight against modern-day piracy.
These Anti-Piracy 8M RHIBS are fitted with ASIS’ unique foam tube collar (Hyb Foam® technology) made of closed cells foam with memory. The tubes are made from Hypalon 1880 Dtex Fabric with HDPE Modular removable plates fitted for extra protection to prevent damage on the RIBs’ tube.
ADDITIONAL FEATURES :
Double Console :
A double console with two extended bench seats to have additional seating for the men on board.
A-Frame
Black painted stainless steel A-frame with metal plates for easy mounting of Lights, GPS, Aerial and Nav lights etc.
Pull Post and Rubber Mats :
A black painted Pull Post at front for mooring the boat and assistance in case some other boat are in distress, as well as rubber mats for the cargo section.
Outfitted with the single inboard diesel Yanmar 240HP Marine Engine with Hamilton HJ 241 waterjet drive and complete accessories and a stainless steel Fuel tank with a capacity of 300L, the 8m Rigid Hulled Inflatable Boat can operate at speeds above 29 knots.
The 8m ASIS RHIB is certified to transport up to 15 passengers.
