Bad Sides of Free Traffic

Most people tend to take the 'free traffic' route when they first start doing internet business. They tend to think that they will get rich quickly without any initial investments. While that could happen, it is very unlikely. Internet business is often very difficult and it damands a lot of your free time. Of course, free time is not only thong that you should have to earn money online.There are many disadvantages of traffic that comes for free. Here are some of them:

Disadvantage #1: Competition For Free Traffic Is Huge

Yea, that's right. If you want free traffic, you will have to fight for it and work really hard in order to achieve it. You must be very determinated. For example, just take a look at search engines. Traffic coming from them is free, but competition is really strong and you have to put in a lot of work if you want to see results.

Disadvantage #2: Is That Kind Of Traffic Really Good

This one is really arguable, but I think that traffic that comes for free doesn't convert even nearly as well as paid. Of course, that is generalization because I had times when free traffic was better than paid. But unfortunately, that was exception. Usually you get what you pay...

Disadvantage #3: Is it worth it?

Having loads of traffic is excellent thing simply because it's free. If you are lucky you might get some profit because of it. But on the other side, the best free traffic comes from search engines. In order to rank well on Google, you need good reputation - you have to do right search engine optimization and that takes time. And you know what they say about time - time is money.

Simple question comes to my mind - is it really worth it?
