Although people use their grills throughout the year, they really start firing them up going into the spring and summer months.  With spring being right around the corner, you will need to have certain supplies in stock to meet the needs of your customers who barbeque.  Here are some tips on dealing with BBQ time when you own a dollar store.

Whenever someone wants to use the grill, they will undoubtedly need certain supplies.  They will come into your store looking for utensils such as tongs, spatulas, long forks, and basting brushes.  People will also find having a storage case for all of these tools to be quite handy.

Instead of eating inside on beautiful days, many people do so outdoors.  That is one reason it is a good idea to offer picnic and outdoor table covers when you own a dollar store.  Eating utensils such as forks, spoons, and disposable knives should also be in stock.

Dollar stores are steadily increasing their food offerings.  People will need plenty of snacks to eat at their cookout, so make sure you have items like chips and sodas.  Hamburgers and hot dogs are some of the most common items that are cooked on the grill, so it is important to have buns too.

Eating outdoors is not always a breeze.  Insects can quickly become a problem and ruin the fun.  You can help your customers keep these insects away when you own a dollar store by offering insect repellent they can spray on.  Some would prefer to setup torches instead of spraying those chemicals on their clothes though, so be sure torches are available as well.

Not all people have a grill to use.  Instead of buying an expensive one, they may look for one they can use on a special occasion.  Disposable charcoal grills can sell really well when you own and operate a dollar store business, especially for those who live in apartments where space is rather limited.

No one can do anything with a grill unless they are able to get the fire going.  Make sure you have those elongated BBQ lighters they can use to light them up more easily.  Those who have charcoal instead of gas grills will also need bags of charcoal.

After the food has been cooked and everyone has eaten, someone will need to clean the grill off so it will be easier to cook on the next time around.  There should be grill scrubbers and pairs of gloves on your shelves to help them complete this maintenance task when you own a dollar store.
